The management of roles and permissions in Embat enables companies to securely manage user access. With predefined and customized roles, administrators can control each member's access to the necessary modules, ensuring that every user has the appropriate permissions for their responsibilities on the platform.
View and manage users
From the User Management module in Embat, access the complete list of registered users, where you can view the assigned role and their current status. Additionally, you will be able to manage actions for each user.
- Navigate to the User Management module in Embat.
- In the Users section, you will find a list of all registered users, including pertinent information such as the assigned role and their current status (active, disabled, or pending).
- From this same view, additional actions regarding the users can also be managed, such as modifying permissions or changing their status.

This option allows for the permanent removal of a user from the platform. Utilize this feature to maintain an updated user list and ensure that only authorized individuals have access.
- Navigate to the User Management module in Embat.
- Place the cursor over the three-dot icon (…) next to the user you wish to remove and click on it.
- Select the option "Delete".
Create a New Role
If you need to adjust the permissions of a specific user or a group of users, you can create a new custom role. This will allow you to combine access to the modules that you deem necessary for their functions. To do so, please follow these steps:
- Go to the User Management module in Embat.
- Select Roles: In the "Roles" section, click the "+ Create Role" button at the top right.
- Name the role: Enter a name for the new role.
- Set access: Specify which modules users assigned to this role can access.
Note: If you haven't subscribed to a module, sections will appear in gray.
- Complete creation: After configuring access, click "Create".
- View the new role: You will now see the new role in the roles list.
Assign module access to a user
If the user already has access to Embat with an assigned role, you will be able to modify their permissions.
- Go to the "Permissions" tab of the user whose permissions you want to edit.
- Edit the assigned role in the permissions matrix. If you don't have a role that covers all necessary module accesses, create a new one by following the steps in the Create a new role section.

-
Navigate to the three dots located in the upper right corner of the screen (...).
- Select “Assign Same Role to All.”
- Click on the role you want to assign to all companies.
