Deactivating Intercompany relations

When an intragroup relationship is no longer active or needed, deactivating it ensures that the debt balance remains fixed, no further interest accrues, and it is removed from active relations. Historical data remains intact for reporting and auditing purposes. 

1. In the main menu on the left sidebar, click Intercompany module.
   
   
2. Select relation to delete
   • In the Balance tab, find the relation you want to deactivate.
   • Hover over the relation row, click the three-dot icon on the right, and select Deactivate from the context menu.
     
     
     
     
3. Click Confirm: the relation, and its associated intercompany products will be deactivated.

The impact:

1. • Once deactivated, the relation will no longer accrue interest, and its debt balances will remain unchanged.
   • Historical data will remain available for reporting and auditing purposes.
   • The status of the relation is changed to Inactive. You can filter relations that are deactivated in the Balance and Interest tabs.

Tip: Besides the Balance tab, you can also initiate the delete process from the following sections:

1. 1. 1. Interest tab: follow the same steps as in the Balance tab.
      2. Relation details (Balance tab): Hover over a relation in the Balance tab and click the icon in the Relation Pair A - B column to open the Relation details. In the side bar on the right, click the three-dot icon and then Deactivate.
      3. Relation details (Interest Tab): follow the same steps as in the Balance tab.
