To ensure more granular control over payments, Embat allows you to define Payment Rules, which associate specific approval flows with the fulfilment of certain conditions in a payment batch.
This article provides a step-by-step guide to building them:
-
Access the Automation section from the dropdown menu on the left-hand side.
- Go to the “Payments” tab.
Note: Only admin users have the permissions required to create this type of rule.
-
Click the Create automation button located at the top right:
- Automation Name: Start by giving it a descriptive name that will help you easily identify it later.
- Defining Conditions:
-
- Click on "Add company".
- Select one, several or all the companies whose batches you want to configure the conditions for.
- Start by configuring the first condition.
