TellMe is Embat's intelligent co-pilot. Whenever you see elements in the interface with the TellMe icon and characteristic colours, you will know that this action, suggestion or task has been generated by Embat's AI. Its mission is to help you work faster, more accurately and with less effort, automating key tasks and enriching your daily operations.
TellMe is based on artificial intelligence models trained with the actual history of platform use, including more than 10 million transactions. This allows it to understand the financial context of each company and make accurate recommendations in processes such as accounting or categorisation, even without the need for previous rules. Unlike generic models such as ChatGPT, TellMe is nourished by real accounting and banking data to offer results adapted to each client.
What can TellMe do?
Currently, TellMe is available in four key functionalities:
1. Bank reconciliation and accounting
TellMe suggests accounting proposals and applies automatic rules to help you efficiently post collections, payments and any other movement.
This allows you to:
- Automate a large part of your daily accounting.
- Reduce manual review work.
- Maintain consistent accounting logic over time.
How does it do it?
TellMe uses generative AI that interprets bank descriptions and automatically extracts key information such as the beneficiary or document number. This is possible thanks to the use of language models (LLM), which enrich bank transactions - normally unstructured - with relevant data from the ERP.
2. Automatic categorisation of transactions
TellMe automatically categorises those transactions where it has a high degree of certainty about the correct category. To do this, it is based on several factors such as:
- Previous use that you or other users have made on the platform.
- Keywords detected in the transaction concept.
- Rules and behaviour patterns recognised by the system.
Embat categories (such as payroll, tax, commission, etc.) enrich bank data, allow for simpler rules, improve dashboard analysis and help maintain consistent classification over time.
3. Prediction of collections
TellMe predicts with great accuracy the date on which outstanding invoices will be collected, based on the actual payment behaviour history of each customer. This will enable you to:
- Improve short-and medium-term cash flow forecasting.
- Anticipate possible delays.
- Make decisions with greater confidence and less uncertainty.
4. Suggestions for intercompany forecasts
TellMe automatically detects possible matches between intercompany forecasts recorded in different companies of the group. This way, you can keep the balances of your intercompany relationships up to date much faster and more accurately.
- Proposes pairs of compatible forecasts to be reconciled between companies.
- Saves time on manual review and keeps intercompany relationships up to date with less effort.
This functionality is integrated into the reconciliations view, where suggestions appear grouped and ready to be approved or discarded.
Can I deactivate TellMe?
Yes. From your Group settings, you can independently deactivate TellMe for the Transaction Categorisation and Documents and offsetting accounts functionalities.
Important: If you deactivate TellMe in any of these areas, it will stop working for new actions from that moment on. However, everything already categorised or posted will remain unchanged.
