Balances can appear negative for several reasons, depending on the product:
-
Checking accounts. If the account has more expenses than incomes, the balance will be negative (overdraft).
-
Debt products: Loans, mortgages, credit cards, lines of credit and confirming: The balance represents the outstanding debt, so it is shown as negative.
- Factoring or leasing: The balances reflect amounts pending collection or payments to be made.
Note: When manually adding debt products to the platform, any amount entered in the balance field will automatically be converted to a negative value. This ensures a consistent representation of financial obligations within the system.
