To ensure more granular control over payments, Embat allows the definition of payment rules, which link specific approval flows to certain conditions within a payment remittance.
How does it work?
The Administrator can configure rules that determine which approval flow will be applied based on:
-
Amount: Different approval levels can be set depending on the remittance amount.
Example:-
- Condition: Payments under 10,000 → Action: A dropdown will appear in the actions section with available approval flows to select.
- Condition: Payments between 10,000 and 50,000 → Action: A dropdown will appear in the actions section with available signing flows to select.
- Condition: Payments over 50,000 → Action: A dropdown will appear in the actions section with available signing flows to select.
-
- Currency: Applies different controls depending on the currency of the payment.
- Origin account: Defines an approval flow based on the account from which the payment is executed.

Validations and Restrictions When Selecting an Approval Flow
To ensure consistency in the assignment of approvers, the system will apply the following validations when selecting a flow within a Payment Rule:
- Permission Restriction: If any of the users included in the selected flow does not have access to a selected company or does not have approval permissions in the Payments module, the system will display a warning and will not allow the configuration to be saved.
Example of action configuration in a Payment Rule. In this case, the dropdown menu for selecting the approval flow will not allow users to be chosen if they do not have access to one of the selected companies.
