How to create a stacked bar chart

A stacked bar chart allows you to compare totals while also understanding how each of them is composed by category.

To create a chart with breakdown:

1. Select the visualization type, for example: vertical bar chart or horizontal bar chart.
2. Add a dimension to the X-axis (for example: balance date).
3. Add a metric to the Y-axis (for example: cash).
4. Add the field you want to use to break down the information (for example: product type) in the Breakdown section.

5. Click Save.
