When you delete a category from Settings > Group > Categories that has been used to classify transactions, a warning will be displayed indicating that those transactions will be reclassified as "Uncategorized". This action cannot be undone.
Additionally, if this category is being used by a rule, the rule will be marked as "Error" and will remain pending update.
