Types of banking balances

In Embat, depending on the banking product, different types of balances are shown to offer a clearer view of the financial situation of each account, credit line or financial product.

The main types of balances are:

1. Balance
   • It represents the current balance of the financial product that Embat receives from your bank.
   • It may include booked and pending transactions depending on the account type.
   • In some cases, it may differ from the calculated balance.
   • In debt product, it refers to the total amount of the balance granted by the bank that you have used (total debt consumed).
2. Calculated balance
   • It is the balance obtained on the platform based on the registered transactions.
   • It may differ from the balance provided by the bank due to movements in process or not received.
     
     
3. Granted balance
   • It represents the credit limit granted or the maximum amount available for certain debt financial products, such as credit cards, confirming or credit lines.
   • It is shown as negative since it represents an outstanding debt.
     
     
4. Available balance
   • It indicates the amount of money that is actually available for immediate use, including the not processed transactions.
   • In debt products, it may be the difference between the balance and the granted balance.
     
     
5. Liquidity
   • It represents the amount of cash or funds that can be disposed of without restrictions.
   • It is similar to the available balance, but more oriented to reflect the immediate payment capacity.
