Embat allows you to add bank products that are updated through automatically received files sent by your banks. This option is helpful when a direct API connection is not available.
Steps to add a file-based bank product
- Go to the Banking connections module, under the Banks section.
- Click the Add product button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select the option Add product via file. You can also access this option from the contextual menu of an already connected bank.
- Use the All banks filter to search for a new bank or select an existing one from your list.
- Fill in the product details form. In addition to the standard fields, you will need to select the file type. Embat currently supports the following formats:
- Norma43
- CAMT.053
- FB 500
- VCF 4
- Amex (GRRCN)
- Once the form is completed, click Continue. The product will be added to your list of bank connections.
Data update
File-based products are updated once per day, when Embat receives the file from the bank. The update time depends on when the bank sends the file.
⚠️ It is not possible to manually add transactions to this type of product. If transactions are missing for specific dates, please contact the Customer Experience team and send the relevant file including the missing data.
